  The worst meal ever! I reviewed this restaurant on trip advisor after ordering 70 dollars worth of take out and provided an honest review. The marinara sauce was tasteless, the calamari was chewy, smelled fishy and the breaking was falling off, the tortellini was in some strange watery cream sauce that I assume was supposed to be Alfredo, the house salad was a handful of iceberg lettuce with two tomatoes and a mostly oil vinegrette, the veal was tough, pasta overcooked, bread was stale and the potato soup couldn't be fixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder and any other spice I could find in my cabinets.
  The first response from the owner stated that she had not had any take out orders, she claimed that I must've gone to a different restaurant and chastised me for writing a bad review of the wrong restaurant.
  So - in response to her response on trip advisor, I stopped by Cafe Toscano on a Friday night at 630 to introduce myself and tell Anna Maria that I was a real person and that her food was terrible, to her face. When I approached her, I excused myself as she was in conversation with someone and she had a huge smile until I told her I was and that her food was terrible. I was calm, polite and caused no scene as she is now claiming on her updated trip advisor response. I told her no hard feelings, just wanted to tell her that I am real and again, the food is terrible.
  Anna Maria is a nut case, customers beware, these other reviews about her behavior are true! There was only one table of two in that restaurant at 630 on a Friday night, that itself is an indication of the food and service here.
  On another note, the young girl at the counter was extremely polite and friendly when I entered the restaurant, I hope she finds another place to work before this place is closed down.
