  Shopping at Publix takes an unacceptable amount of time. Whether it is getting a sandwich, meat from the deli, or ANYTHING else, make sure to cancel your plans. I have timed it, an average trip takes 22 minutes to get two items. As another individual wrote--- even if you are the only person in the sub line, it will still take 15-30 minutes. The sub area is always understaffed. The grocery checkout lines always include someone with an excessive amount of coupons, (that are expired or dont work) or they send someone to verify the price. Then after 10 minutes of waiting, I complete my checkout in 1 minute max. Believe me, I do everything I can to avoid this place.
  
  REMEMBER, it's not "Publix, where shopping is a pleasure" it's "Publix, where shopping takes FOREVER". And I had plenty of time to write this review, courtesy of the deli area.

  This Publix is a very convenient place to shop and I've always had good experiences with the staff there. They are friendly and courteous to me when I enter the store as well even if I end up not purchasing anything because I'm window shopping that day. They have amazing subs and a knowledgeable staff when it comes to ingredients in foods. This is especially important to me because I have a little lactose sensitivity.
